Overall, this was the most professional job I’ve ever had done. The men wore covers on their shoes to prevent getting dirt on the off- white carpet, they carefully moved large ladders around without one ding on my walls; and finally, they covered everything to prevent any drips on floors or furniture. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism.

“Many thanks to the entire crew for replacing my air conditioning and heating system on August 6, 2009. Everyone arrived at 7 a.m. and by 1:30 p.m. the installation was completed. Extreme care was taken to protect my furniture and cleanup afterwards. The whole crew did a super job.

 

Special thanks to Nick. It took only a few minutes for him to realize that a leak in the line set inside a brick wall was occurring. Nick explained what my options would be and what it would take to upgrade the system. He suggested lowing the thermostat so I could reach it from my power chair. Nick provides customer service at its best.

“I would just like to say that it’s a rare occasion that when I have the chance to promote an A/C company. I have had several companies in the past work on my homes, and this was a pleasant surprise.

Mr. Nick Shelly showed up, listened to what I had to say regarding my problems and concerns, and took the time to "teach" me. It’s a special person that can do this. "Recently, I responded to a mailing from Brazos Valley Services.  I called to inquire about the ad and was advised to have your representative come and inspect my home before you could quote me a price over the phone.  I now know why this is a good policy for your company and especially beneficial to me.  Mr. Doug Smith arrived on time and with a big smile on his face.  I must say, he was very helpful and straightforward in his approach to solving my problems.  The reason I say that is I do not feel he was trying to sell me anything.  Rather, his efforts were to assist me in making the choice that would be beneficial to me.  His manner was very professional while at the same time communicating casually about the products and services your company offers.  What I’m really trying to say is that I don’t feel like I was presented a “canned” speech.  He presented my problem, offered me a variety of options, dangled some carrots, (programmable thermostat, repair ductwork, etc) and never made me feel I was pressured to sign anything.

I even feel he went the extra mile to get me no payment and no interest for 90 days.  I thought that would be enough, but he called me back to inform me that he was going to upgrade my heating unit at no extra charge because he had the unit in stock.  I believe that alone saved me over $400.00. 

The installers arrived on schedule, were very mannerly and helpful to my wife, and did an outstanding job and left everything clean.

"This is just a short note to tell you how happy my wife and I are with our new air conditioning system.  It is cooling our house excellently.  Our guess is that it is running less than half the time of our old one and cooling infinitely better.  So, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our next electric bill.

I know you will be pleased to know that Nick exhibits a pleasant and friendly personality.  He listens carefully as I explain the problems I am concerned about, and then he is very thorough in explaining what he is going to do to resolve the problem, so that I understand the operation and function of the unit and/or accessories that he has been informed to repair or replace.  He has consistently displayed qualities of initiative, conscientiousness, and professionalism. 

 

His positive optimistic attitude is reflected in his workmanship, he goes above and beyond the call of duty.  I was overwhelmed to find out that he had not discarded the ceiling vent that I really wanted.  He returned the vent to my house, I cleaned it and he returned again and installed it.  Nick’s enthusiasm, his innovativeness, hard work and his genuine concern for doing a good job is exemplary.

 

Unfortunately, I did not get to meet Mr. Doug Smith until the job was complete.  Therefore, when Mr. Daniel Banks, inspector for the City of Hempstead examined the workmanship of the entire job he stated that the installation met his specification and in some instances exceeded his expectations.  He also stated that the installers did an excellent job in meeting the city’s inspection code.

Nick Shelly has been great throughout this entire project.  Nick needs to be especially commended because he did an excellent job at selling your product and has been there throughout to help.  We did get bids from other contractors, but Nick's confidence in the IQ Drive system prompted us to research it more and to decide it was the product for us.  My husband is an engineer and he is really technical on things and Nick did a good job explaining the system to him.
